Thanksgiving:
Sons and Daughters
Activity: Make a list together of what each son did right and did wrong.

Repenting:
Where are you?
Activity: Play Hide and Seek with a twist! Go and hide and when the person that is “it” see’s you, have them ask “Where are you” run to them and receive a great big Hug. 
Verses to Read:
Genesis 2:7-9, 15-17, 3:1-9
Question: How good does it feel to be found?  God never loses us, our God always sees us, we can’t hide!
Tuesday 3/15/11

Fasting:
What would Jesus do?
Activity: Pick one thing that God would want you to do tomorrow that might be hard.  Decide to do it!  Talk about each person’s plan and commit to praying for each other the next day.

Isaiah 50:6
Question: What does it mean to be a disciple? Ask each other who they would like to be like?  Do we want to be Jesus’ disciple? 
Wednesday 3/16/11

Activity: Give God time.  Spend time in his word reading the last weeks scriptures.

Activity: Fill up a jar with sand, try to separate out and count the grains.

Question: Who knows how many hairs you have? Freckles? Bone?  Thoughts?  Feelings?  Why is this important?

Activity: Write out the ten commandments with Do’s rather than do not’s

Deuteronomy 5:6-22
Question: What do obey and disobey mean? 
Saturday 3/19/11

Fasting:
Baptism, Glory, Preparation
Activity: Make a book of this time in Jesus’ life as a family. Draw pictures and write words that will help you remember what happened first, middle and last.
Verses to Read:
Matthew 3:13-4:2
Question:  What did Jesus do in the desert?  What are we fasting for lent?  Do we have times when we want what we gave up?
